University Synagogue is a
Reform Congregation nestled in Brentwood on historic
Sunset Boulevard, neighboring Santa Monica, Pacific
Palisades and Westwood. Celebrating over 65 years
and serving over 500 member families, University
Synagogue is proud of its longstanding commitment
to serving the Jewish Community here on the westside
of Los Angeles.
The Vision of University
Synagogue is to be a beacon of Torah, a spiritual
home, and a loving community, infusing the presence
of God into our congregants' daily lives. We welcome

University Synagogue has a newly renovated building with a welcoming façade of beautiful Jerusalem stone. Equally welcoming is our grand lobby, sanctuary with floor to ceiling vivid stained glass windows and adjacent reception room. For a smaller group, our chapel is an intimate space for groups up to 125. The newly decorated banquet/social hall can accomodate large or small celebrations.
Whatever the occasion, University Synagogue is a location that offers a myriad of options to make your special event truly fantastic.
