The University Synagogue 20s and 30s/Young Professionals group is an exciting new community at University Synagogue.

Come and join this vibrant community of young professional Reform Jews on LA’s
Westside. Join us for Happy Hours, social justice activities, new and exciting services and holiday celebrations throughout the LA area.

Join the Steering Committee!

We are looking for people to join our Steering Committee. Help create exciting Jewish programming and social activities for this vibrant Reform Jewish community we're building on LA's Westside.

The time commitment is minimal, as we understand the stress and strain of trying to balance jobs, school, family, friends and the countless other activities that fill your calendar. If you would like to help us plan fun and exciting events, as well as help create a warm and welcoming environment for young professionals who are interested in meeting other Jews, playing softball, learning Jewish texts, exploring spirituality and other avenues of Jewish life thencontact Rabbinic Intern Joel Thal Simonds at JSimonds@unisyn.org!

People Assisting the Homeless

Join us as we make a difference in the lives of people in our community. University Synagogue is going to be working with People Assisting The Homeless (PATH), a wonderful organization that provides social services to the needy. One program that we would like to engage with is serving a meal once a month to homeless individuals and families at PATH. We would go as a group and cook/serve the meal together. Please email Rabbinic Intern Joel Thal Simonds if you are interested in this project: jsimonds@unisyn.org.
